End-entry valve means a valve has a construction that the valve trim is assembled from one end of the valve. Commonly the End entry valveis the ball valve and has a single-piece body. The valve ball is inserted from one end and is retained by an insert. These valves have flange or threaded connections. This design is commonly used for inexpensive small valves. They are also available in larger sizes up to NPS 6 (DN 150).

Some times people also called the side entry valve as End entry valve, but actually, they are different. End entry valve generally has a lower pressure and small sizes.
